If you have ever taken a CPR class you know that they use a life sized and weighted dummy to perform the task on. These centers also have training that helps students to react properly and usefully in the event of a weapon of mass destruction being used on American soil.

The equipment that will be used in make shift hospitals is reproduced. Each is exactly the same as the real machines that medical personnel will use in live situations. They have read outs and have put all the technology into their working software to simulate the actual situations that may arise in their patients. They use resuscitation equipment, medications, even medical gases.

These centers have viewing rooms for other students to be able to see what is happening and how quickly things can go from bad to worse.
